Quran 4 Mankind (“we,” “our,” or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, retain, and delete your information when you use our mobile application Quran 4 Mankind (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

a) Location Data (GPS) The App accesses your device’s location solely to calculate accurate prayer times and Qibla direction. Location data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. If you enable automatic location detection, coordinates are used in real-time and discarded immediately after calculation.
b) Device Information We automatically collect non-personal device information including:
  • Device model and operating system version
  • App version and build number
  • Unique device identifiers (e.g., Android ID, Advertising ID) for analytics and crash reporting only
c) Usage & Analytics Data We collect anonymous usage statistics to improve the App, including:
  • Screens visited and features used
  • Audio playback events (non-identifiable)
  • Prayer time calculation method preferences
  • App performance metrics
d) Crash & Error Logs If the App crashes, we collect technical error logs to diagnose and fix issues. These logs do not contain personal information.
e) User-Generated Content (Optional) If you choose to create an account in the future, we may collect:
  • Email address
  • Display name
  • Bookmarks and reading progress
f) What We Do NOT Collect
  • We do not require users to create an account to use the App.
  • We do not collect names, phone numbers, addresses, or payment information.
  • We do not sell your data to third parties.

  • To calculate and display prayer times and Qibla direction
  • To provide Quran reading progress and bookmarks (stored locally)
  • To analyze app performance and fix bugs

6. Your Rights & Data Deletion

a) Uninstalling the App Since most data is stored locally on your device, uninstalling the Quran 4 Mankind App will permanently delete all locally stored data, including:
  • Bookmarks
  • Reading progress
  • App preferences
  • Cached content
b) Requesting Data Deletion If you believe we hold any of your data on our servers, you have the right to request deletion. To request complete deletion of your data:
  • Email us at: admin@quran4mankind.com
  • Subject line: “Data Deletion Request — Quran 4 Mankind”
  • Include: Your device model and approximate dates of App usage
We will process your request and confirm deletion within 30 days.
c) Opting Out of Analytics You can disable analytics collection through your device settings:
  • Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical measures to protect any data processed through our backend services. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
